Summerville, GA – Injuries Reported in Rollover Accident on GA-48
Summerville, GA (November 12, 2021) – Around 3:54 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, November 12, a rollover accident occurred in Summerville.
According to Chattooga County officials, the accident happened on GA-48 around the Georgia and Alabama state lines. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to reasons that are not fully known. Two vehicles overturned as a result of the forceful collision, sustaining severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
