Oxford, GA – Two-Vehicle Crash at GA-81 & Hightower Trl Intersection
Oxford, GA (October 22, 2021) – On Friday, October 22, a two-vehicle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Oxford.
According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-81 and Hightower Trail. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The conditions of those involved are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
