Morrow, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-75 Near Mt Zion Blvd

Morrow, GA (November 5, 2021) – At 4:13 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, December 5, a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Morrow.

According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Mt. Zion Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

Due to the severity of the collision, a large portion of the roadway was blocked for some time. Police urged those in the area to use I-675 as an alternate route.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
