Marietta, GA – Car Crash with Injuries on I-75 Near S Marietta Pkwy

Marietta, GA (September 25, 2021) – At 4:25 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, September 25, a car crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Marietta.

According to Cobb County Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of South Marietta Parkway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they forcefully collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
