Lawrenceville, GA – Man Killed in Workplace Accident Near Lawrenceville Hwy
Lawrenceville, GA (December 2, 2021) – At 5 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, December 1, a man was killed in a workplace accident in Lawrenceville.
According to Loganville Police, the incident took place in a business on the Lawrenceville Highway. When police and fire crews arrived at the scene, they initially found a man trapped under a vehicle. They were able to free him from the vehicle and started to administer CPR to him.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The employee, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Piedmont Walton with traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead while there.
The area was blocked off for an extended period of time following the accident. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
