Lawrenceville, GA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Cruse Rd & Eagle Creek Dr

Lawrenceville, GA (November 23, 2021) – At 11:33 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, November 23, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred in Lawrenceville.

According to Gwinnett Police Department officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cruse Road and Eagle Creek Drive. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by a vehicle that was traveling through the intersection. The driver remained at the scene of the crash.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the collision.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was entirely blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police urged those in the area to find alternate routes.
