Jonesboro, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-75

Jonesboro, GA (November 13, 2021) – At 5:31 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, November 13, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Jonesboro.

According to Clayton County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 235, Tara Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing them to collide forcefully. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were rushed to the hospital, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was completely blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
