Douglasville, GA – Motorcycle Crash with Injuries in WB Lanes of I-20
Douglasville, GA (September 13, 2021) – At 3:14 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, September 13, a motorcycle crash with injuries occurred in Douglasville.
According to Douglas County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-20 around the area of exit 34, Highway 5. A motorcycle was traveling on the highway when it was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The motorcycle immediately caught on fire.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes until police were able to fully clear the scene.
