Conley, GA – Car Accident at Moreland Ave & Cedar Grove Rd

Conley, GA (September 14, 2021) – At 4:49 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 14, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Conley.

According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Moreland Avenue and Cedar Grove Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to fully clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
