Chickamauga, GA – Serious Car Crash at US-27 & Tom Hunt Rd Intersection

Chickamauga, GA (November 14, 2021) – At 12 a.m. on Sunday, November 14, a serious car crash with injuries occurred in Chickamauga.

According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of US-27 and Tom Hunt Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more people were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated from their vehicles. The victims were seriously injured and hospitalized.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
