Cartersville, GA – Car Crash at Kingston Hwy & Cassville Rd Leads to Injuries

Cartersville, GA (September 28, 2021) – At 8 p.m. on the night of Monday, September 27, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Cartersville.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Kingston Highway and Cassville Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to unknown reasons. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were seriously injured in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. This led to extensive delays until police cleared the scene.
