Cartersville, GA (December 5, 2021) – At 4:50 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, December 4, a bicycle crash with injuries occurred in Cartersville.

According to Cartersville Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Cassville Road and Sugar Valley Road. A bicyclist was traveling in the area when they attempted to cross the intersection on their bike. At that time, they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle in the area. It is believed that the driver remained at the scene.
