Atlanta, GA – Rollover Accident on I-85 Near Cleveland Ave Leads to Injuries
Atlanta, GA (September 14, 2021) – At 11:55 p.m. on the night of Monday, September 13, a rollover accident occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Cleveland Avenue. Two vehicles collided with each other on the highway due to reasons that are not yet known. This caused a white SUV to overturn in the middle of the roadway. It sustained severe damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims inside the rolled vehicle were injured in the collision. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
