Atlanta, GA – Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-75 Near Windy Hill Rd

Atlanta, GA (November 12, 2021) – At 6:42 a.m. on the morning of Friday, November 12, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Atlanta.

According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Windy Hill Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
