Atlanta, GA – Man Injured in Pedestrian Crash at N Ave & Peachtree St

Atlanta, GA (November 29, 2021) – On Monday morning, November 29, a man was injured in a pedestrian crash in Atlanta.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of North Avenue and Peachtree Street around the area of the North Avenue station. A male pedestrian was walking in the area of the intersection when they were suddenly struck by a MARTA bus. The bus remained at the scene of the accident.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been formally identified, was rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Nobody on the bus was hurt in the collision.

Due to the severity of the accident, lanes of traffic were blocked until police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
