Atlanta, GA – Injuries Reported in Truck Accident in WB Lanes of I-285

Atlanta, GA (October 13, 2021) – At 4:40 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 13, a truck accident with injuries occurred in Atlanta.

According to Cobb County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of I-285 around the area of I-75. A box truck was traveling in the area when it collided with a passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Several people were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
