Pedestrian Accidents in Georgia
Pedestrians are known for being some of the most vulnerable parties on our roads. This is due to the fact that they have no protection from harm in the event of an accident. Hundreds of people lose their lives in pedestrian accidents every year. In just 2018 alone, in fact, over 260 pedestrians lost their lives in these accidents due to the recklessness of others. It is never easy to face the loss of a loved one whose life has been taken prematurely in a pedestrian accident, or face injuries caused by one of these accidents. If you have been hurt in a pedestrian accident, you may wonder where you can turn. It is crucial that you have the help of an attorney on your side.
Being injured in a pedestrian accident can have a huge impact on every aspect of your life. This is especially true if you have sustained any of the following severe injuries:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Organ damage
- Broken bones
These injuries tend to land victims in the hospital and cause them to miss out on time in the workplace. This means that you could have a long road to recovery and bills that you may not be able to handle on your own. It is important that you speak with an Athens personal injury attorney that you can trust in your time of need.
