Athens, GA – One Injured in Car Accident at Baldwin St & E Campus Rd

Athens, GA (October 25, 2021) – At 9:07 a.m. on Saturday morning, October 23, a car accident with injuries occurred in Athens.

According to the University of Georgia Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Baldwin Street and East Campus Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One person was injured as a result of the accident. The unidentified party was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

Due to the severity of the crash, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
